MARCUS for MONASH 2024

I live in the City of Monash and I love the City of Monash. The people, the food, and our many scenic spots. But like other locals, I am disappointed with the current state of affairs. The current council has lost its focus. With excessive potholes, rate rises, and a chaotic rubbish situation. Together, I am confident we can make a positive change for all Monash residents.

VOTE Marcus Fernandez 1 in October 2024, it is well and truly time to hit the ‘reset’ button on our council. Let me be the adult in the room.

What I stand for:

• Championing a costed rate freeze for 3 years in Monash (RATES)

• Comprehensive review of roads and footpaths (ROAD)

• Reinstating weekly rubbish collection, and free replacement of bins (RUBBISH)
  

• Improving lighting, trailing security trials, and beefing up Neighbourhood Watch (CRIME)

• More consultation, and proper process for residential/commercial projects (DEVELOPMENT)

• Using my business/teaching background to help Monash business flourish (BUSINESS)

• Preserving family values and the rights of our kids. (FAMILY VALUES)

• Term-limits/monthly community forums for consultation (TRANSPARENCY/ANTI-CORRUPTION)
